Bridging the Digital Divide

We help people in our community overcome digital poverty by supporting them through the online process of accessing government social security, housing, unemployment, and healthcare benefits to which they are entitled. We also advocate for some of the most vulnerable people in London in debt disputes with utilities and government bodies. This includes visa applications as well as problems with identity and immigration status. No need to bring a laptop or smart phone, we have the technology!

About The Freehand

We focus on providing crucial support to
individuals facing digital poverty. Our
services include advocating for people in disputes with local government as well as energy and water companies.
We run a free and confidential drop-in
service (10am-4pm) every Tuesday at Chisenhale Gallery, 64 Chisenhale Road, London E3 5QZ.
Volunteers are always welcome!
